Before you start

Can you load my existing products and data?

Yes. We import from Excel or your old software during set-up, so you do not type everything again.

What equipment do I need for the POS?

A computer or laptop, a barcode scanner and, if you want paper receipts, a receipt printer. We can supply a tested set or use the equipment you already have.

Will my staff be able to use it?

Yes. We run a hands-on training session in Bangla or English and leave short written guides for new staff.

Who looks after updates and backups?

We do. Hosting, backups and software updates are included in every monthly plan.

Can you add a feature we need?

Our story

Why Lienex exists

Our software is shaped by daily work: queues at the counter, stock that does not match the shelf, fees that are hard to track and reports that arrive too late to help.

Our own retail business, Smart Bazar, uses our software every day. When something is slow or unclear, we feel it first, and we fix it.

We work in Bangla and English, and we build for teams that use both.

Who we are

Lienex is a software company working from Dhaka, Bangladesh, and London, United Kingdom. In Bangladesh it is operated by HNS International. In the UK and for clients abroad it is operated by Anzara Global Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company no. 15174407), registered office Barkat House, Suite 9, 116-118 Finchley Road, London NW3 5HT, United Kingdom. In this policy, "we" means these companies and Lienex. You can reach us with the details on our Contact page.

What we collect

When you use a form on this site, we collect what you type: your name, business name, email address or phone number, the kind of help you want, any preferred demo time and your message. This site does not use cookies or advertising trackers. Where we measure visits, we count page views and button clicks without cookies and without identifying you.

Why we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry and, if you ask, to arrange a demo or send a quote. We do not use them for anything else without asking you first.

Payments

Online payments are handled by SSLCOMMERZ, PayPal or Stripe, depending on how you choose to pay. You enter your payment details on their secure page, and they handle them under their own privacy policies. They tell us whether the payment succeeded, the amount and a reference number. We do not see or store your full card number, card security code or mobile banking PIN.

Who sees it

People at Lienex and the service providers that help us run this site, our email and our payments, such as hosting, email and payment providers. They act on our instructions. We do not sell your details. This website and the messages sent through its forms are stored on our own server, rented from Contabo in India.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 24 months, after which they are deleted automatically. If you become a customer, we keep your details for as long as we provide the service and as the law requires.

To use any of these rights, contact us and we will reply within 30 days. If you are in the UK, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Customer data in our software

If you use our software, such as Lienex POS, we process your business's data on your behalf. The agreement we make with you covers how we do that.

1. About these terms

These terms are between you and the company that provides your service ("we"): HNS International for clients in Bangladesh, or Anzara Global Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company no. 15174407), for clients in the UK and elsewhere. Your quote or invoice names the company. Your written quote or agreement sets out the details of your order. If it differs from this page, the quote or agreement applies.

2. Ready products and subscriptions

Ready products, such as Lienex POS, are provided as a monthly subscription unless your quote says otherwise. A subscription includes hosting, backups, updates and support as described in your plan. It continues until you or we end it, with the notice period stated in your quote.

3. Custom work

We agree scope, price and timetable in writing before we start. Ownership and licence of custom software are set out in your quote.

4. Fees and payment

Prices are in Bangladeshi taka, and VAT and other taxes are added where they apply. Your quote or invoice states what you pay and when. In Bangladesh you can pay online by card, bKash, Nagad, Rocket or internet banking, or by bank transfer. Clients abroad can pay in British pounds or US dollars by PayPal or Stripe. 5. Your data

Your business data belongs to you. We host it and back it up, and we return a copy on request when your service ends.

6. Using the software

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your login details safe.

7. Availability and support

We work to keep our services running and to fix problems quickly. Support hours and response targets are set out in your plan.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Beyond that, our liability is limited as set out in your agreement.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Changes to your own agreement are made in writing.

10. Governing law

Agreements with HNS International are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Agreements with Anzara Global Ltd are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

11. Refunds, cancellation and delivery

Cancellations and refunds are covered by our Return and Refund Policy, and delivery times by our Delivery Policy.

12. Complaints

To make a complaint, contact us through our Contact page. We reply within 2 working days and aim to resolve complaints within 7 working days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection.

13. Where we sell

We sell to businesses in Bangladesh, the UK and elsewhere, except where the law of Bangladesh, the UK or the customer's country forbids it.

1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to payments made to Lienex for Lienex POS, our other ready products, set-up and training, custom work and equipment we supply. Your written quote or agreement can add to it.

2. Refund timeline

Once we approve a refund, we process it within 7 to 10 working days. The money goes back to the card, bank account, mobile wallet, PayPal account or other method you paid with. Your bank or payment provider may take a few more days to show it in your account.

3. Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel a subscription at any time by contacting us. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for, and you are not charged again. If the service was unavailable for a period because of a fault on our side, we refund the affected part of that month.

4. Set-up, data import and training

If you cancel before we start the work, we refund the full amount. After we start, we refund the part of the work we have not yet delivered.

5. Custom work

Custom work is paid in stages agreed in your quote. Stages we have delivered are not refundable. If you cancel, we refund payments made for stages we have not started.

6. Returns of equipment

If equipment we supply, such as a barcode scanner or receipt printer, is faulty when it arrives, tell us and we will repair it, replace it or refund it. Software and online services are delivered digitally, so there is nothing to send back. When a service ends, we return a copy of your data as described in our Terms and Conditions.

7. Payments taken in error

If you are charged twice or charged the wrong amount, we refund the difference in full.

8. How to ask for a refund

Contact us through our Contact page with your business name, the date and amount of the payment, and the reason for your request. We confirm whether the refund is approved, and then the timeline in section 2 applies.

9. Payment disputes

Please contact us before opening a dispute or chargeback with your bank, bKash, Nagad, PayPal or Stripe. We look into it and reply within 2 working days.

Clients outside Bangladesh can pay by PayPal, or by card through Stripe. These payments are taken by Anzara Global Ltd in British pounds or US dollars. The amount and currency are shown on your invoice or on the payment page before you pay. Your bank may charge a currency conversion fee.

Prices and VAT

All prices on this site are in Bangladeshi taka. VAT and other taxes are added where they apply and are shown on your invoice.

How online payment works

  • Tick the box to agree to our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Return and Refund Policy.
  • You are taken to the payment provider's secure page to pay.
  • You receive a receipt, and we confirm your payment.

Keeping your payment safe

You enter card and mobile banking details on the payment provider's own secure page, over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. SSLCOMMERZ, PayPal and Stripe are certified to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). We never see or store your full card number, card security code (CVV) or mobile banking PIN.

Monthly plans

Monthly plans are paid one month at a time, in advance. You can cancel at any time, as described in our Return and Refund Policy.

Problems with a payment

If a payment fails, is taken twice or is for the wrong amount, contact us through our Contact page. We refund payments taken in error in full. Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank or payment provider, as we can usually resolve it faster.

1. How we deliver

Our software and online services are delivered digitally, so there is nothing to ship. The only exception is equipment we supply, such as barcode scanners and receipt printers.

2. Subscriptions to ready products

We set up your account and send your login details by email or SMS within 3 working days of receiving your payment.

3. App downloads

Our apps can be downloaded straight away from this website.

4. Set-up, data import and training

We agree dates with you after payment and normally start within 7 working days.

5. Custom work

We deliver custom work in the stages and on the dates set out in your quote.

6. Equipment

Inside Dhaka, we deliver within 5 days of payment. Outside Dhaka, we deliver within 10 days. Any delivery charge is shown on your invoice before you pay.

7. If we are late

If we cannot deliver on time, we tell you why and give you a new date. If you do not want to wait, you can cancel, and we refund the part not yet delivered within 7 to 10 working days.
